As the first Canadian stockist of Private White VC, we are excited to be able to share a few of our favorite items from this brand with our customers. James Eden, Director & Owner of Private White VC, is the great grandson of Private Jack White, the man who helped launch the company back in 1919. The same high standards by which the company was founded on, are still alive and well in the creation of their garments today. The factory in Manchester produces small batches of clothing and outerwear with the greatest care and attention.
The Deansgate Parka is the answer to a gentlemen's shell– the quality details are superb. Private White VC chose to tape each and every internal seam with soft white cotton, to ensure that daily and yearly wear doesn't hinder the lifespan of the parka. There's also a subtle pinstripe detail in the navy fabric that's only noticeable if you're up close and personal with it or wearing it, of course. Layer your shirt and sweater underneath or use it as an overcoat with a wool blazer.
