Heritage Research is the definition of Handmade in England. The small label got it's humble beginnings back in 2006, when business partners Russ and Dan decided to create something special, essentially letting the garments speak for themselves through the details, attention to craftsmanship, quality and integrity. Back then, they were only making a handful of pieces for a few select stores in Japan. Today, they continue to offer cohesive collections based on some or their personal inspiration. Heritage Research based the design of this Submariner Crew, around the original which was issued to USN Sailors who undertook Submariner training in the 1940's. You can layer this over the Penny Collar Chambray shirt, or a fall flannel for extra warmth instead of a woolen sweater.
